The Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction (GAR) is a biennial global assessment of disaster risk reduction and comprehensive review and analysis of the natural hazards that are affecting humanity.

The 4th edition of the Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction (GAR15) - Making Development Sustainable: The Future of Disaster Risk Management was launched in March 2015.

This report is prepared by the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR) and will contribute to countries achieving the Sendai Framework.
