Post Disaster Recovery Plan (May 2017)

The post-disaster Recovery Plan (PDRP) for the floods and landslides of May 2017 was developed as a collaborative effort of the Government of Sri Lanka (GoSL) with its partners – the United Nations agencies, the World Bank, the European Union, and other organizations. The process of developing the Recovery Plan was led and conducted by the Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs of the Government of Sri Lanka, the Ministry of Disaster Management, and line ministries with support from its partners. The Secretaries to the Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Disaster Management would like to extend a special acknowledgment to the following Sri Lankan authorities:
