The current development plan is aiming to find solutions for these issues and uplift the living

standard of the Uva population. The vision of the province “An Ideal Sustainable

Development” has been set with the aim of advancing the economy and society of the

province to desirable level by the year 2030 through achieving Sustainable Development

Goals of the UN for which Sri Lanka government has agreed.
