The COP26 summit, held in Glasgow in November, brought parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
COP26 concluded with all countries agreeing to the ‘Glasgow Climate Pact’, which intends to drive climate ambition to keep the 1.5C Paris agreement target alive through continued global efforts.
This session, part of the Colombo Development Dialogues on Green Development, will bring together a range of UK and Sri Lankan stakeholders to deliver presentations on their contribution to environmental and climate action, and their role at COP26.
